Exciting news!

I wanted to share something new and exciting with everyone! As of today, my

first article has gone live on the Examiner.com.

A perfect fall evening! Sheri and Stuart: October 26, 2008

While it is true that most brides are beautiful, one of the things that has always touched me about the weddings business is how truly kind and sweet brides glow from within on their wedding day. Looking through Sheri's photo album, you can see what I mean.
Once Sheri and Stuart were ready, they met in the ballroom to sign the Ketubah before the ceremony began.

Inside the ballroom, Sheri walked down the aisle, joining Stuart and the Rabbi under the chuppah.

Afterwards, they posed for a few photos both indoors and outside in the beautiful fall sunshine.

Inside, the reception was set with Sheri's choice of mixed fall colors - wine, pumpkin, forest green and gold. The floral centerpieces included a burst of deep purple!

The reception started off with bridal party introductions and then a blessing with Challah and wine.

Afterward, there was much signing and dancing. As you can see, everyone seemed to have a great time!

Best wishes Sheri and Stuart for a long and happy marriage!

A Cherry Blossom Wedding, Russian Style: Eva and Oleg, March 29, 2008

There is such a warm, fuzzy feeling that comes from seeing the next chapter in the lives of a couple that I've worked with. Upon recently catching up with Eva, she not only sent me a few of her favorites from her wedding day, but also a fun surprise. I've saved it for last ; )

Eva and
Oleg were a fun couple to work with. They had been together for a long time before deciding to throw the wedding together - having been committed at heart long before they were committed on paper. While many details came across as subtle, the over-all effect was one of understated elegance which served as the perfect back-drop for one fun Russian style party complete with on-going toasts and tons of fun.

There was plenty of time before the ceremony for a photo shoot down on the mall with the cherry blossoms and as you can see, the day was beautiful and sunny!

Here are a few pictures from the ceremony including the bridesmaids and Eva waiting with her father.

Afterwards, Eva and Oleg went out for a few pictures in the garden while the guests enjoyed the cocktail hour.

Inside the ballroom, everything was aglow with tons of votives and shimmery gold table toppers and chair sashes.

Everyone listened with rapt attention at the numerous toasts delivered in the Russian tradition.

And then later, everyone got into the act on the dance floor. Here is Oleg singing to his new bride!

Afterwards, the cake was cut and everyone had a great time for the rest of the night.

Now, for that surprise I was telling you about! Meet Nikita Oleg, a precious addition to the family! Isn't he adorable? Congratulations Eva, Oleg and Nikita Oleg!

Thank you Eva for sharing these photos from your wedding album!
