This post is coming to you from the Wyndham Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona where I am currently attending the Wedding MBA conference. It has been such a whirlwind but it's so worth it! If this is the first time you've visited my blog, I want to welcome you and invite you to check back every week for new updates! Also, please feel free to leave comments and to vote on the polls - a new one comes out every month.
Because I don't have photos yet and do have a full schedule of seminars and networking, I'll be really brief today but I want to say that I've loved meeting all of the wedding professionals here at the conference and all of the presenters have been fabulous. I have a bunch of exciting new ideas that I'll be unveiling in the next few weeks and months so thank you for all of the great times and the great ideas!

A Day of Celebration! Jaime and Randy: August 16, 2008
Jaime and her mother Armeta had a lot of planning to do in a short amount of time. It was actually Armeta who worked so hard to turn Jaime's vision into a reality. The colors were Red and Black and White but you'll notice that each bridesmaid got to wear her own special shade!

"Lights! Camera! Action!" - Jamie's Bat Mitzvah: July 12, 2008
Jamie wanted to have a Hollywood style red carpet night for her Bat Mitzvah and that is exactly what her mother and a team of decorators headed by Rocky Shelton-Landi provided for her. Here she is waiting for her grand entrance as announced by DJ Brian of Electric Entertainment http://www.thedjs.net/.
The evening of glitz and glamour was awash in Black, White and Red with Gold highlights befitting the grand style of old Hollywood. The centerpieces featured a film production motif and were alternately tall and large.
Jamie herself was the belle of the ball in floor length red satin.
The elegant dinner included a cocktail hour in the foyer with a variety of foods, drinks and a 10 item Martini Bar. Lisa, Jamie's mother, hand-picked a number of the concoctions herself! Then, Jamie, her father and her grandfather presided over a blessing with Challah and Wine.

The next day, there was time for clowning around at the brunch. Jamie's mom Lisa cleverly planned to reuse the decorations from the night before to continue the festive feeling of the event.
