Fireworks and Frivolity: June 27, 2009 Matt and Julie

Matt and Julie were such a sweet couple and so fun to work with. Boy was I surprised to see how fiesty their party turned out to be!

Here are Matt and the guys getting ready before the ceremony.

Here is Julie putting on the finishing touches before a photo shoot with her ladies in the garden.

Finally, everything was ready and it was time for the ceremony to begin.

Julie and Matt posed for a few photos in the garden while the guests went into the cocktail hour. Then it was time for their formal introductions and first dance.

After they cut the cake, the party took a rowdy turn! As you can see, everyone had fun on the dance floor and a few of the groomsmen took a little dip to cool off!

When at last the party came to an end, the guests gathered in the garden to send Matt and Julie off in style!

Garden Update: June 26, 2009

So, again, I braved the elements to take a few photos. As you can see, the vines are starting to trail, the hibiscus are blooming beautifully and the flowers are filling in around the beds in front & back.

Much to my delight, however, we have something new this year. At a recent gathering of the Women's Wedding Network, I received a seed packet that, living in a condominium, I didn't really have a good use for. Our General Manager, Steve, located an empty planter and we filled it with soil and the seeds. Look how they are coming along!

Everything was Glowing for Karen and John! April 25, 2009

Karen and John had a beautiful ceremony at their church and then traveled to the Hilton Garden Inn Fairfax for a luncheon reception.

Here is Karen with her daughter Tavia outside the church after the ceremony.

They paused for some photos in the garden while their guests enjoyed the punch reception.

Inside the Prosperity Ballroom, everything was ready for their grand entrance.

I love these cute honey jar favors!

The guests enjoyed a lavish buffet luncheon and then it was time for dancing and cake!

Everyone had a great time!
